Travel

Travel. Travel. Travel

As an artist and adventurer, I’ve explored 36 countries across Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the CIS, living in some of them and immersing myself in their unique cultures and landscapes. Each experience has shaped me, not only as an artist but as a person. Over the years, I’ve embraced various roles—show dancer, actress, singer, musician, visual artist, and art model—each one deepening my connection to the world around me.

What drives me is an insatiable curiosity and a desire to connect with people through art. Whether I’m performing on international stages or collaborating on unique projects, I find inspiration in the cultures, stories, and landscapes I encounter. These experiences fuel my creative journey, each one guiding me in new and exciting directions.

My path is ever-evolving, always blending the lessons from my travels with my ongoing exploration of creativity. With every step forward, I’m excited to see where this journey will take me next.

Languages

Speaking My Way Across the World

I haven’t just traveled—I’ve spoken my way through the world.

Languages have never been just a skill for me. They’re how I belong. They’ve opened borders, started friendships, and helped me find home in places I had never been before.

I was born into a family of languages.

My mother speaks Moldovan, Romanian, Armenian, Italian, Russian.

My father spoke Armenian, English, French, German, Russian.

They passed that gift to me, not just through words but through connection. My father, Robert, taught me to read and write in English at age four. At seven, we started learning French. Later, I returned to the language with a French friend. German was my Fathers forth language he learned, when he played in a rock band in Germany—so for us, it became a language of inside jokes.

My native languages are Armenian, Moldovan, Romanian, Russian. Also we have far Italian and French roots.

English became the one I live and write in—it’s always in practice, especially now that I live in English-speaking countries.

I also speak Spanish, French, and Italian (all at B2 level), and I revisit them regularly—depending on the country, the people, or the feeling I want to express. My sister and I often speak Spanish; she’s passionate about Spanish culture, and we practice together. We both have Latino friends from around the world who keep that rhythm alive.

And I’ve traveled through 36 countries in total—from Armenia to Japan, from Greece to Australia.

While living in France, Italy, and Spain, I practiced and reconnected with the local languages through real conversations, daily routines, and quiet exchanges. In Eastern Europe, my Moldovan and Romanian roots helped me dive deeper. In Southeast Asia, I learned how to listen beyond language. And everywhere I’ve been, I’ve learned that speaking—even imperfectly—is a form of respect, of showing up.

Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German—I keep them moving. If I don’t practice, I lose them. At least 50%. Some, like Portuguese and German, I use casually. Others, I revisit through travel, films, or conversation.

I’m also learning Latin, Sign Language, and Navajo (Diné Bizaad). And someday, I want to dive into Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit, and Japanese.

And yes—for swearing, I use Armenian. It sounds funny.

Also for jokes, I use German. Thank you, Papa.

Traveling, for me, isn’t collecting places. It’s collecting ways to say “I’m here,” “I see you,” and “thank you” in every voice I meet.

Language hasn’t just helped me travel—it’s helped me connect, adapt, and return with stories that don’t need translation.
